Central State Hospital Local Redevelopment Authority
The Central State Hospital Redevelopment Authority (CSH LRA) is a special purpose political unit of the State of Georgia created to revitalize and repurpose the Campus of the Central State Hospital in Milledgeville, Georgia.
The Authority was established by Georgia House Bill 815 in the 2012 Session of the Georgia Legislature to plan, repurpose, revitalize and redevelop the beautiful and historic Campus containing over 200 buildings and approximately 2,000 acres of land located on the southern boundary of the City of Milledgeville.
The Authority is chartered with bringing life back to the Campus through an array of economic development tools while establishing strategic partnerships locally, at the State of Georgia and at the Federal level of government.
The Authority has organized and has begun its work and we suggest you check back often for news, updates and opportunities.
